Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park is located about 360km west of Uganda and is about 795 sq km, it has one of the highest concentration of primates estimated abut 13 species of primates. The national park is heaven and the most treasured habitat for chimpanzees and over 700 Individuals are protected there. Other primates include black and white colobus, blue monkeys, grey cheeked mangabay and the L’Hoest’s monkey, red tailed monkeys, bush babies and pottos. KED Safaris Uganda will be letting you know at all intervals when you need to make your booking but all in all just be informed that bookings should be done in advance to avoid inconveniences.

Activities


Kibale and its nature has appeared to be the best area in Uganda for Chimpanzee tracking. We therefore always recommend that you have your chimp tracking here and you will not regret anything. Birding and butterfly watching in the bigodi swamps and in the Kibale forest is worth an experience, please don’t miss it. A forest walk in the Kibale forest is a great undertaking and may view numerous tree and plant species.
